The project proposed is composed of research on the sign language that arose at OWS. It involves the spread of the hand signs to other Occupy’s, the name changes utilized to address them, as well as the evolution and creation of new signs. This project is an archival one in that it is trying to map the progression of the OWS sign language and observe it’s constant growth in communication.
